AnimeWorks is ready to rain down Zim's doom upon the heads of animation fans everywhere with its release of Jhonen Vasquez's Invader Zim. Anime fans have been screaming for this DVD release since Zim first aired on Nickelodeon in 2001 and now its finally here. Coming Spring 2004 will be the first of three double disc sets and a limited edition boxed set which promises to send fans' blood racing through their veins like giant radioactive rubber pants.

I've not seen it officially posted on the AnimeWorks site yet, but supposedly it's been confirmed. Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease... This means I don't have to worry about transferring my videotapes to DVD. =)

This kind of thing makes me feel all tingly. ;)

And I must confess that I'd be totally happy to spend some vacation time on this.

Okay, this is bad. My monitor is starting to flake out on me. On one hand, this could be a good excuse to get a new flat panel. On the other, I really hadn't budgeted for buying a new monitor anytime soon. Grr. Arrgh.

I've also lost all of my contact information out of my Visor, and it's almost time for card-sending. If you'd like me to have your contact info, fill out my handy little poll (results only viewable by me) or drop me an email at catherine  @  mad.scientist.com and let me know if you'd like a card. (Oh yeah, and if you suspect I might not know the name by which you'd like to receive mail, please add that in with the address.)

Poll ahoy! )
