Jul. 1st, 2003 11:04 pmToday is Boomtime, day 36 in the season of Confusion, 3269.
I'm the biggest idiot ever for even contemplating the possibility of getting within 20 miles of Rehoboth on a holiday weekend. That is *so* not happening, at least not without shelling out a couple hundred dollars a night or more. On to the next potential plan...
I've picked up books again, which is a Good Thing. In the last week I've finished The Da Vinci Code (The Prieuré de Sion and Opus Dei and the Grail, oh my!) and Fluke, realized that I absolutely cannot try to read The Structure of Scientific Revolutions before bed (tried three times, each time I ended up waking up at 4 am with my face in my book and the light still on), and am trying to switch gears a bit now to read Nexus: Small Worlds and the Groundbreaking Theory of Networks. That latter is as high in the queue as it is mostly because B&N was beyond sold out of Harry Potter and I picked this up instead. ;)
