Things to do tomorrow:

  1. Interview questions for [livejournal.com profile] hopeforyou and [livejournal.com profile] griffen
  2. Answer [livejournal.com profile] indyansel's questions to me.
  3. Reply to email, seriously. I have mail from my aunt that's been in my inbox for months at this point I think, as well as mail from two of my college roommates which need to be answered.
  4. Check the bank balance, pay some bills and then go shop for some summer clothes.

Things to do right now:

  1. Be utterly entranced by this song.
  2. Fall over and get some sleep.

Today is Prickle-Prickle, day 18 in the season of Confusion, 3269.

A poetry meme, originally from [livejournal.com profile] griffen, that ended up here via contributions from [livejournal.com profile] aegidian and then [livejournal.com profile] rmjwell. Take the poem below and add a line, then post the result, and let someone else pick it up.

Misty morning drifts across the moors
Spoor of summer, gone to ground
Lovecraftian horror, green and round
That wasn't mentioned in our tourism brochures!

Got bills paid, snagged the adjusted bank balance, and prepared to head out for a wee bit of shopping for summer clothes since it's magically decided to go from 65 to 85 degrees in the last few days. Too bad I was cut off by the stream of animals walking two by two past my door; I seem to have been parked in by an ark, too. What do you know, it really can rain all the time.

[I'm just a posting fiend today, sorry about that y'all.]

I bought a sewing machine which I should be picking up tomorrow. Now I get to learn to use it (last time I touched a sewing machine was in fifth grade home ec., *mumble* years ago). Woo!

[Edit: I forgot to mention the birthday present of mine that finally showed up yesterday (they got slashdotted apparently right after C. ordered it and it took them a while to get caught up): a talking Iraqi disinformation minister action figure. Heehee! I'm not a big fan of some of the company rhetoric, but frankly I loved listening to the minister's increasingly surreal press briefings.]
