Mar. 16th, 2003 01:57 amToday is Prickle-Prickle, day 1 in the season of Discord, 3269.
Finally a successful trip to Ikea; we have returned, bearing a dresser and a new coffee table. They were having a sale today, so it was insanely crowded and I couldn't stop to see what all the snakes in the tanks were about. While picking up some DVDs we'd ordered, I discovered that the H&M at Dulles Town Center is open now; it was very bright, very loud, very crowded, and generally stocked with a lot of unattractive clothing (with a few exceptions).
I'm noticing myself withdrawing again; I'm finding I don't have the energy or too much desire to go out and socialize lately. I hope I'll snap out of it once I get more sunlight, but for right now I just want to spend the evenings curled up in bed with my books and my sewing.
Speaking of socializing, I've started getting email about my 10 year college reunion. I'm not sure if I'm going to go or not, it's not like I've kept in touch with anyone I went to school with and there are plenty of people I'm not sure I want to see even after a decade. I suppose I could go to a couple of events, it's not like I have to travel very far.
