(no subject)

Today is Prickle-Prickle, day 59 in the season of Chaos, 3269.

I don't think I can come up with 10 good things for today or yesterday individually, so maybe I'll try to combine a couple of days into one. Does that even count?

1. America's Cup coverage (race 4 from yesterday at the moment) on ESPN
   
2. Dates with brian1789 ...
   
3. ...and he still likes spending time with me even if I'm mopey and not much fun
   
4. Snow-frosted evergreens
   
5. Driving 40 miles or so total in heavy snow with nothing even close to an accident and only a tiny bit of stress directed mostly at other stupid drivers. (Considering I hadn't driven in any snow in like 5 years, and a decade before that, I'm pretty pleased.)
   
6. Watched more of "Excel Saga" with C.
   
7. "Red Dwarf" DVDs for tonight, hopefully
   
8. The birds have discovered the bird feeder on the balcony, so I wake up to birdsong (and we've got "cat tv" going on now and Gateway's thrilled)
   
9. my National Geographic subscription has kicked in, and I got a nifty map in the mail
   
10. Final car loan payment check cleared, so now I own my car outright.
