Today is Setting Orange, day 64 in the season of Confusion, 3268.

Things I MUST do today:

• Make sure all webmaster email is answered.
  
• Spend a few hours fighting with the search engine on the dev server and tracking down all the dependencies that I need to get the @#$% thing to build.
  
• Work on templates. Get rid of all formatting to avoid getting bogged down in discussion of font faces and concentrate on the content.
  
• Think about best way to cobble together a script to notify interested people when new results are posted. (partially; I've got some ideas and some prewritten stuff around)
  
• Install RT on a machine here so I don't need to keep posting this kind of thing in my journal. ;)
  
• Cull out the inbox on my personal account and make sure I've caught up on everything that needs to be answered and got backlogged when my motivation disappeared for a while there. If I owe you email, you should poke me about it.

Otherwise, had a lovely weekend hanging out with points and lots of other very cool people on Sunday. I seem to have met mittelschmertz without realizing it at the time. =) (Must resist urge to hum "It's a small world". Must also pound forehead on desk a few times to get that song out of my brain now.) Found something that had been missing for a long while, which might make getting something else I want very much somewhat easier; let's see how long I manage to hang on to it this time. Most excellent and relaxing weekend was had, which I desperately needed. I didn't check my work email a single time on Sunday, for once. Of course if I had, I'd have seen that I did not in fact have to be in half an hour earlier than normal this morning like I thought I did. D'oh.
