Thought for today, courtesy of Ann Landers: "Subtlety is the art of saying what you think and getting out of range before it's understood."
It's beautiful outside, not a cloud to be seen. Not quite as warm as yesterday, but at least it's not raining. Not raining = Cathy going outside and walking for 20 minutes or so in a bit, assuming my shoes don't prevent it. I'm wearing my beloved "good for walking around the office but can't really do a mile at a good clip" slides, but I feel like such a sloth that I should make an effort at least to go out. Okay, more inspiration to get serious about this exercise thing: http://www.galacticmachine.com/lsnundress.html *sigh* Utterly impractical, I would look awful in it at the moment, yet I want want want. Like I said, enough exercise and perhaps once something like this would look good I'll reward myself.
I'm also trying to balance my desire to be entertained with my need to debug this calendar script and beat it into submission. Not to say that tinkering with the script isn't entertaining, because sadly enough it is, but it's a different variety of entertaining. Rev Hammer's "Punchdrunk" seems to be up next in the Winamp queue and I feel a bizarre desire to close the door and dance wildly around the office to these two songs. No, I do not have a webcam at work nor am I setting one up for the occasion.
