Wally Wingert, Richard Horvitz, and a couple of other Zim staffers have reported that the extremely popular cult hit "Invader Zim" has been cancelled as of today.
The staffers gave mixed and/or no reason for the move, but have definitely confirmed it as official. The staff will get 3 weeks of pay and will likely be transitioned to jobs at other cartoons.
Nickelodeon has not yet issued a press release on the matter.
The remaining episodes of the show, some of which had reached completion, will still be aired, although no official date for their airings have been set. Be sure to program your VCRs for them, because once they're gone, they're gone.
