Well.

That went REALLY well. What an utterly wonderful weekend. More after I get some sleep.

We spent Sunday afternoon talking about kids and looking at furniture.

No, not in the making plans sense, but we were talking about our thoughts on having kids thanks to the way-too-energetic and spastic children sitting behind us at lunch, and while trying to come up with something to do on a gray, cold, rainy Sunday we discovered that we both love to poke around home furnishings stores, and the call of the fairly new Expo store in Fairfax was too loud to ignore. ;) So we wandered around looking at furniture and rugs and decorative hardware and kitchen and bath design for a couple of hours; it's scary how similar our tastes are. In fact there's so much that we have in common it's almost frightening. We really are sharing a brain.

We went out for a drive out west on Saturday evening, out through the hunt country. I absolutely love the area out around Middleburg (wish I could live out there). Again, we both had the "I love this kind of place" thing going on.

Things are moving pretty fast, but it doesn't feel forced or wrong in any way. I'm still a little nervous, but it's only a little twinge now and then. Mostly I'm just extremely happy.

Ooooooh, big scary winter storm. We got half an inch, and it didn't even stick on the roads. *grump* It was supposed to snow a LOT, starting yesterday, like they promised. Then I could've kept Wolfy for a few extra days. ;)
