Jan. 18th, 2001 12:20 amEver have one of those days? Wake up feeling like crap, then discover that what you were convinced was the rewt password to your secondary name server is apparently somehow not what you thought it was last time you had to su? And although you know it was documented somewhere when you changed it to something just slightly easier to remember than the previous one, you just don't know where? And more importantly, no one else does either. So because you've got nothing better to do at this point (as you can't make the changes you'd wanted to) you try to run a cracker to see if you can get it back. But of course you have to actually be rewt to do this effectively. So for kicks you run it on your machine with all the user accounts, and you find not just one but THREE passwords still set to your blatantly obvious default, in addition to a birthday and a child's name. And yet you can't murderize these folks, although a good LART seems to be in order and will definitely get a blessing from on high. Can't live with 'em, no salary without 'em.
