Well, it was nothing if not exciting. I ended up staying up until 5 am watching the returns. I was just about to go to bed in utter disgust after they declared The Shrub as the winner when I heard Tom Brokaw say that Gore had pulled to within 600 votes of Bush in FL with some small percentage/several thousand votes yet to count. And then they took FL away from Bush and declared it up for grabs again. Who could sleep? =) Too bad I had to be up to get to my 11 am training session in time to warm up. So now I'm exhausted and my arms and chest are going to ache tomorrow.

Speaking of the training sessions, I'm really going to like working with Andy. Just so long as he quits making jokes about how we're saving the pain for later. *ahem* =) It's an investment, certainly, but I think it will do me nothing but good. I really need someone else to help motivate me to keep going to the gym, and now I've got four months of motivation. I've already added on some weight on the dumbbells since last session, which probably just means that we started out a bit too light but still feels good. I've also got this crazy idea that I want to take up bellydancing as exercise. Maybe a few months into the exercise program.

The gym is offering ballroom dancing classes, with a partner required. I so very much want to go, but I won't be able to find anyone who wants to go with me I'm quite sure. C. doesn't have an interest in it. E. and I joked that we could pair up and take turns leading. *sigh* Probably for the best, since I just signed a contract to turn over a pretty hefty chunk of change for the training sessions and the ballroom dance classes are not terribly cheap either.

I got some email from a very important person in my life yesterday that made me feel really, really good. Things I think I knew but needed to hear since I was feeling a little fragile. Still am, but I've got the email saved so I can go back to it when I start doubting again. *sigh* Of course, it only makes me miss him even more. I'm not sure whether I'd move if C. wasn't dead-set against moving back to that area.

I think tonight is a "bed before 1:30" night, even though I took a short nap earlier.
