geekchickToday is Prickle-Prickle, day 49 in the season of Chaos, 3168.
It should be "Boomtime" (although I suppose there's no reason I couldn't declare today to be Boomtime anyway). Today's rant: Norton Antivirus. I have version 5 for 98, which work(s|ed) just fine. My update subscription expired, so I went to go renew only to find that they won't renew Liveupdate subscriptions for version 5, I have to buy NAV 2002. Whatever, I'll do it manually like I have in the past. Download their updater, and it tells me "you have to renew your subscription in order to use the updater". To renew my subscription, I have to shell out more cash for new software. If I'm going to buy a new program, I think this little runaround has convinced me that it's going to be McAfee and not NAV 2002. =P
