Owie?
Had the first session with a personal trainer yesterday; I'm not nearly as sore as I thought I was going to be. Just twinges here and there, although I'm not exactly scoping out reasons to lift my arms above my head. ;) Another session at 9 am tomorrow. I suspect I will check into buying a package of sessions, since it will force me to a) get up in the morning instead of 1 or 2 in the afternoon and b) go to the gym. Went yesterday, went today for an hour of cardio, going tomorrow. If I stop, however, I find it really hard to get back there. I stopped going for a month because I was out of town, then I was sick, and then I just couldn't get inspired. Gotta watch out for that; appointments that cost as much as the training sessions do will definitely make me uninclined to skip them. =/
I also managed this week to say to M. "hey, I'd like to see you this particular weekend" and have it actually work. I think I caught him at exactly the right moment. So Boston this coming weekend, and then the second weekend in December. Boston in December, I'm so looking forward to that. ;) I also want to drag him off to NYC at some point, after the holidays when things have calmed down. We'll see how well that works. =)
This is soooooo wrong. After yesterday's workout and our post-workout vats of coffee, E. and I went to a used book/cd store near the coffee shop and I indulged in something utterly cheezy: "The Best of Tim Curry". Oh god, it's awful. Probably almost as bad as "The Magic of the Pan Flute", which I passed on since I had the Tim Curry already. ;)
Ah well, it was cancelled out by finding stuff by the Colin Hay Band and Rev Hammer and "New Wave Goes to Hell" for $3.50 each. And the cartoon theme song covers album. =)
