finally some good news

I talked to the person who's going to do the actual hiring for this job, and she said that her goal had been to get me hired by the end of this year, but the president still wants to speak with me first. So I think I can be pretty darn confident that I'm going to have a job next month, woohoo! That will start off the new year in a good way, and after this year I really want a good start to next year. This will also put me in a particularly good mood this evening, not that I was planning on being grumpy or anything. I'm feeling the need to dress up since I've been in my pajamas for the last three days with a few brief exceptions for purposes of grocery shopping, but I think for practicality's sake I won't wear one of the corsets. Either my floor-length velvet dirndl skirt with the velvet top with long drippy lace sleeves and my pointy-toed multi-buckle boots, or a slim velvet skirt and top with a purple crushed velvet coat dress worn as a duster. Or maybe jeans and a sweater, depending on when my motivation level crashes. =) Must remember to get batteries for my camera when we go to Radio Schlock.
