geekchickToday is Sweetmorn, day 29 in the season of The Aftermath, 3167.
I have to stop going to the pet store up in Rockville. I fell completely in love with one of the bunnies there yesterday. I think it might've been a Holland Lop, although I have a sneaking suspicion it might've instead been a very young French Lop (big size difference there, 4 lbs vs. 11 lbs, that's the kind of thing you'd want to be sure of before buying). He was busy pestering the other two bunnies in the cage, who spent most of the time I was watching them trying to keep their backs up against the cage wall. I think it's probably my duty to go get the bunny to let the other two get some rest. (See Cathy rationalize. Rationalize, Cathy, rationalize!) Hope he's still there when I have a job and can afford to buy all the bunny start-up stuff (i.e. a big cage). Pets are so much better than children.

Date: 2001-11-17 06:57 pm (UTC)I will definitely let you know if/when we get a bunny. We're trying to decide whether the cat will consider a bunny that's his size to be a threat, unlike the guinea pig who's not worth bothering with. =)
