geekchickToday is Prickle-Prickle, day 12 in the season of The Aftermath, 3167.
I wonder if I'd feel better if I went and got some candy for myself^H^H^H^H^H^Hthe trick or treaters and got dressed up in lots of black velvet and drapey lacey things and at least pretended that I had any motivation to do anything whatsoever. Oh yeah, and a trip to the gym later tonight would be good too. Er, assuming they don't close tonight. ("Closed for the first time ever!") Need to get around to filling out the little survey thing that Aquent sent me (with the same address and subject line as their autoresponder, so I was lucky I didn't delete it). Feeling pessimistic about the other permanent job thing, since they need to get someone in immediately and I haven't heard a single thing yet. I'll probably give my contact a ping tomorrow, but I'm expecting to hear that they aren't interested. I need to splurge and spend some money on a resume consultant, I think. electriccat is coming down this weekend and we can do some ranting and hanging out and general relaxing (I hope).
