Another trip to the gym tonight, this time to read "A Distant Mirror" and use the bikes for an hour. I always feel like I want to give up around 9 minutes, but if I can make it to 15 or so then I can usually carry on as long as I want. I'm not sure if it's just weird metabolism stuff, or feeling bored. Maybe both. I should go to the gym more often, as I always feel better when I've gone.
Of course last time I came home after the gym and promptly put on 2 pounds by the next morning. Chris assures me that it's not "real" weight, it's likely glycogen storage or some such, but it sure seems pretty real when I'm standing on the scale. =P "I put on 5, if it helps you feel better." Well, no, it would only make me feel better if I'd lost that 5 and you'd found them somehow. ;)
