geekchickA derecho blew through here tonight, with 71 MPH gusts at Dulles and 79 in Reston. Luckily (since it's supposed to hit 100+ again tomorrow) the power stayed on here, but we do have at least a few trees down. One looks like it might've hit our neighbor's garage on the way down. No obvious damage to our house though, at least not that I can see right now.
