Anne Bishop's Black Jewels books have been my go-to comfort reading for a while, although I don't think I'm going to be counting Twilight's Dawn in that category since vg oebxr zl urneg jura Fnrgna qvrq.
I can say for sure that Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid series is going to be on the re-read list from here on out. They are my favorite books of the year, at least to date.

Date: 2011-06-24 12:19 am (UTC)It is indeed. I got myself spoiled for Twilight's Dawn long before I got my hands on the book, and I really wish I hadn't.
I have to reread the other Song of Ice and Fire books before the next one finally comes out; it's been a good while since I read them and I'm bad about remembering things. There are plenty of "throw the book across the room" moments, for sure. Have you watched any of the TV series yet?
