See icon. Sheesh. Wish I'd thought to take the ark out for dinner tonight instead of the Mazda. The blinding rain and flooded road made for a spectacular end to an otherwise very entertaining evening in which I did not get a house but I did get dinner and some drinks. Not as spectacular as it could've been if I'd been paying less attention, granted, but still more excitement than I wanted to have on the drive home.

Now I just have to hope it dries out over the weekend a bit, othewise the lawn tickets at Merriweather for Leonard Cohen are going to be a whole lot of fun.

I'm gonna go with "C) All of the above". How much fun was it sitting there waiting for you to show up after having told [dude whose name I am not sure I ever got] that I was waiting for you? ;) You didn't get a beatdown when you walked in the door, so I guess it was all good. XD

Not that my opinion means anything, or course, but I approve. I like her.

I see a few familiar (as in friends-of-friends) names on your list too. I was just saying tonight that for such a big world, sometimes there seems to be an almost disturbingly small number of people in it, many of whom turn out to know each other. =)

I'm not the new girlfriend, but I'll try to take some credit for it since apparently their first date was when he brought her to his now-traditional "crash Cathy's birthday dinner with people she's never met before" event a couple of weekends ago. XD
