Oh, right, people were moving from Coldfusion to AJAX, Flex, Silverlight. Reminds me of the time I moved from C++ to 3D Studio Max. I haven't looked back, really, it was better than when I moved from MySQL to Flash.

Hee! I used to read CFDJ back in the dark ages when I actually used Cold Fusion, and I don't remember it being so bad. I gather they've gone totally off the rails since I last paid any real attention to them. (Found a link to the story from Kathy Sierra on Twitter.)

Exactly. =) Backstory as I understand it is that apparently Sys-Con dropped Cold Fusion Developer's Journal and "relaunched" it as Silverlight Developer's Journal, because people were moving from using one proprietary server-side technology to a completely different client-side technology. I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with Adobe dropping their sponsorship. Mmmm, them grapes sure are sour.
