Because I am horrendously bad at remembering these things. Of course if history is any guide, I'll promptly write them all down here and then not look at this post again. (I'm also leaving out OMGLEONARDCOHEN, because that's a given.) Clearly I'm not going to see all of these, even if it was temporally and physically possible. (April 9 makes me cry: Bela Fleck at the State Theater, or Robyn Hitchcock at the Black Cat?) I'm sure I've missed a bunch of other fun stuff, so feel free to share it in comments.

And completely tangentially, I think I've decided I hate ScribeFire but Deepest Sender is not playing nicely with Firefox 3 in general and my installation in particular.

P-Funk was smokin' Saturday night at the Rams Head in B'more. Literally. If this would bother your asthma -- I personally had noooo problem with it -- consider that the 9:30 is probably going to be about the same in terms of indoor air particulate density. (That said, if you do decide to go, let me know if I can has couch space and ride; I does has cripple parking permit.)

I do believe the 9:30 club is nonsmoking these days :)

AFAIK, so is the Rams Head. I have yet to see the venue security that could stop George Clinton from blazing up onstage, though. All I know is I did not personally toke anything, yet after the show, when we drove past "Pothouse Alley," I laughed for a good two minutes and then attempted to explain to the gentleman with me why P-Funk and the Grateful Dead were, in some existential or metaphysical sense, actually the same band. YMMV.

Can't blame you. 108 bows to Cohen-roshi.
