So, what do y'all think of FriendFeed? I know a couple of you are there already, how are you liking it?

I've been thinking lately that I just don't have time to keep up with everyone that I want to in all the various places they post stuff, and this seems like it could be really convenient. Nearly one-stop shopping, as it were. (If that's ultimately a good or bad thing, I don't know.) I set up an account to poke around, and so far I think I mostly like it. (My feed's set to private for now, but if you've got an account already, you can find me there under my first name.) I'd like there to be a way that I can collapse stuff like my Amazon wish list and Netflix entries, because the included images take up a lot of space on the page. There's a way to hide those entries, but I'd rather be able to keep the titles and make display of images optional. I should poke around more and see if I can do that.

oh! that looks quite promising. thanks for the link (i am pleochroic over there, like most places nowadays).

i especially like that i can make "imaginary" friends, so even if none of my friends sign up for it, i can still keep track of their stuff. that's really what i've wanted for a while, one place where i can check updates from various services.

it doesn't show me things in the way i really want, but this looks like a good start, and it beats having N tabs open to all the different services on which i try to follow people's stuff.
