*facepalm* I just read "drought-hurt farmers" as "doughnut farmers". Then I spent a moment picturing the vast doughnut fields of the Midwest stretching as far as the eye could see, a patchwork of alternating glazed, cake, and jam-filled breakfast treats. Then I realized that I haven't had lunch yet, and all became clear.

Transportation's not a problem, we were planning to drive up. We may still go, it's just that something unexpectedly came up at the end of last week that may make it imprudent to go. Thanks for the pointers though. =)

Re: the clearance, eligible, but not interested in working in the sort of environment that requires clearances if it's possible to avoid. (It's not for me, although honestly I'm not all that keen on going back to gummint work myself. =) )
