Safari 3 for Windows. I downloaded it and gave it a spin; something about the default font rendering gives me a headache, but that's true on the Mac version as well.

I've finally found something that looks suitable for beginning knitters that I have even the remotest interest in spending time teaching myself to knit in order to make: this tank top. I am not, however, going to knit it in Silk Garden. (First, because I don't happen to own any Silk Garden and am not in a position right now to spend $70 on yarn; second, because it sure seems like it would be awfully warm, which is kind of not the point of a tank top.)

For the locals/Bollywood fans: A R Rahman is going to be Patriot Center on Sunday. Floor tickets are apparently $100, the nosebleeds are $35, plus 456% Ticketmaster fees. (I exaggerate, of course.)

I like that tank top, too, but yeah, that's expensive yarn to use for it. I wonder how a cotton blend would do.

I was thinking cotton blend, as well, but not sure what (since the noro is a DK weight, and I rarely use DK weight anything). I'm thinking a cotton/wool blend (in worsted weight, I like both Cotton Fleece and Sierra, but I am not sure offhand what's out there in DK). I am not a huge fan of Silk Garden anymore...the colors are gorgeous but I've found more thin spots, knots, and VM in the yarn than I'd like.
