I especially like the way she's playing the chords on the piano but the actual music is (if I'm remembering my music terminology correctly) pizzicato strings. Not only is it different than what my brain expects (which is pretty neat) it gets bonus points for being complementary to what my brain expects (what's the opposite of hitting strings with a hammer to get sound? Plucking them! Brilliant! ^_^)

I heard it once on XM and it just wouldn't get out of my head, so I bought the album on iTunes as soon as I could. I think my Last.fm "now listening to" listing was pretty heavily-weighted towards that album for a few days.

I kept meaning to pick up "Soviet Kitsch", but that's a mental note that kept getting lost in the same way as yours. I bought the new album on iTunes in part because it was mentioned in their "new music Tuesday" email, otherwise I'm sure I'd have forgotten this one too. =)

Hee! Sorry? I heard this once on XM and it was firmly lodged in my brain for the next week. Then I bought the album and listened to it like five or six times in a row, and that helped a little. Still find myself singing it at random times though.

much much better on second watching. I've noticed that lip synch tends to really bother me; not sure why.
