One of these things is not like the others

See if you can pick out the odd part of this announcement:

W 6/21 VH1 Classic Presents Ministry & Revolting Cocks

VH1 and Ministry are not words I ever thought I'd see in close proximity like that.

Eeeek.

Remember what VH1 is, ostensibly, for: the music video channel for those in their 30s. These days, those in their 30s have fond memories of industrial music, not classic rock. :)

You have to keep in mind Ministry was also a new wave / New Order type band in a past life.

VH1 has this big thing for 80's Alt stuff no idea why.
Me thinks VH1 is a wee bit confuzzed (unless they really do focus in on the short lived new wave gen.).

"here we have Ministry, one CD, now they play Satan's music. For give us Lord we said Satan, Praise Jesus...Yeehaw"

Oh wait I was getting VH1 and CMT confused, my bad

RevCo never was, though, and the inclusion of that particular band makes me laugh.

But why not 1000 Homo DJs, VH-1, why??

Maybe VH-1 wants Jesus to build them a hot rod.

yesterday I caught the first couple minutes of VH1's "best metal hits of all time." the format was annoying tho.
