DDR: Lots and lots of  fun. Whee!
DDR without a good sports bra:  Not so much.  Ouch.

Either way, a much more entertaining variety of aerobic exercise than 30 minutes slogging away on a treadmill or an aerobics class with overly-perky instructors with 2% body fat.

Next acquisition: Taiko Drum Master. Oh, how thrilled the neighbors will be!

Which DDR pad do you have? I want to get a PS2 and DDR setup, but there's a lot of pads out there.

We got the Mad Catz Beat Pad because it was cheap and we wanted to see if we were even going to like the game before investing. I don't recommend this one, it slides around on the floor a lot (had to resort to a combination of tape and a yoga mat, and even that didn't entirely help) and not an hour ago the connector wire came out of the pad -- less than 24 hours of use. For $20, not that I expected a whole lot more, but it would be nice if it had held up a little longer.

Thought about getting one of the wireless ones, but we didn't have a lot of luck with the wireless controller so don't hold out a lot more hope for a wireless dance pad.

yeah, i decided at some point that a good bra was a requirement of playing. sheesh! (makes the guys laugh when i start playing and then go change, though)

I've fallen off playing DDR lately (we used to play every day for an hour - talk about aerobic!), but I should get into it more.

i think part of it is we're playing DDR Konamix, which is a great game, but we'v eheard all the songs, know all the tracks, and need a little more variety. I think a new game is in the future

The drum game looks... scary :) I saw an arcade version that was similar to this that had a rock drum-kit attached to it. COulnd't get up the gumption to play it though. :)

I played for an hour and a half last night, but I was just going through the lessons; the pad kept slipping, so I could never hit the right spots.

The drum game looks... scary :)

Happy little animated taiko drums, how could that be scary? ;) (It's probably a lot scarier for your roommates who aren't playing. *grin*)

Re: the weekend, I am not going to the event, but there was some mumbling about catching up with points sometime, I know not when.
