exchanging one stress source for another

Today is Pungenday, day 58 in the season of Chaos, 3270.

The realtor called today to tell us that our application for the first place we saw was approved, so now we can stop stressing about househunting and start stressing about packing instead. We will need to buy a bunch of full-spectrum bulbs since it's a townhouse oriented north-south that also happens to have trees both in front and in back, but in return we get 2400+ square feet and a nice, big deck facing a wooded area and a small lake. Now, can I manage to get all of our stuff packed in only three weeks? We get the keys on March 17, so I think we're going to start moving stuff over then. Maybe we could go see a movie to celebrate, assuming there's something out there worth seeing.

Never watched the cartoon, but Charlize Theron? Hmmm...

We got finally got full-spectrum incandescent bulbs for our living room lamps, and I think it's made a difference. Another interesting effect - I used to hate having the lamp right by where I sit turned on as it was too annoying, so close. The full-spectrum is much more tolerable.

Never watched the cartoon, but Charlize Theron? Hmmm...

It doesn't seem to me to be one of those things that would translate well to live-action, but I thought that about "Tomb Raider" too. Oh, wait... ;)

Congratulations on landing the monster house! And will 3/20 be the big push (furniture, etc)?

It's really not as big as you make it out to be. =) I'm not sure when we're moving furniture, but we get the keys on the 17th and will probably start making small trips over there that day or the next. It's about a mile from where we are right now, just south of 7100 and 50, so it won't be a huge hassle to go there and back a few times.

It does include a basement, actually. There's a finished, walk-out basement with a wet bar, it's included in the living space measurements.

I don't know what day we're renting the truck yet.
