Bwahahaha! It seems that the joke is actually on me. This is unfortunate, as it means my sweetie, source of the aforementioned review, will be forced to want to throw me out a window now.

Infinite Jest
You are most similar to David Foster Wallace's
Infinite Jest. You are verbose,
intelligent, and funny. Though popular and the
defining example of the undefineable, you are
still somehow a rare gem in these postmodern,
postcolonial times. I like you on many levels,
although I may disagree with the means you
execute to reach your ultimate goal.

To which work of fiction on my shelf are you most similar?

And since I'm already there, might as well incorporate a couple of these things into a single entry.
Grammar Fuhrer
You are the grammar Fuhrer. All bow to your
authority. You will crush all the inferior
people under the soles of your jackboots, and
any who question your motives will be
eliminated. Your punishment is being the bane
of every other person's existence, because
you're constantly contradicting stupidity.
Everyone will be gunning for you. Your dreams
of a master race of spellers and grammarians
frighten the masses. You must always watch your
back. If only your power could be used for good
instead of evil.

What is your grammar aptitude?

Weren't you the person who passed along the quote about that work of fiction to the effect of "yes, it is infinite -- and the joke's on you"?

I seem to remember that you didn't like the book at all.

Heh. I originally made a grammatical error in the previous sentence, and then caught it, thinking, "better get that, before the grammar Fuhrer gets on my case." : D
