geekchickToday is Boomtime, day 15 in the season of The Aftermath, 3269.
I've been awarded the "Emperor Norton Award for Meritorious Distribution of Confusion" for my creation of an office holiday on August 23, 2004 merely by writing it in on our office calendar. The important part of this is that a large percentage of people in the office have walked past the calendar, scratched their heads and said "There's a holiday that day? Hm. Okay, I must have just forgotten about it." Too bad that I have to wait so long to see who doesn't show up that day. ;)
(August was lonely, it didn't have a holiday scheduled and it wanted one.)
