Screen and stage legend Katharine Hepburn has died, according to Old Saybrook, Connecticut police. She was 96.

One of my favorite quotes was from her: "I often wonder whether men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then."

Heh, actually I didn't, for some reason I was under the impression that they were indeed related, whether that was my own mistaken impression or whether someone told me that when I was young and I never bothered to research it, who knows.

Oh well, I still think they are two very beautiful and remarkable actresses.
