Today is Sweetmorn, day 73 in the season of Discord, 3268.

Another mostly quiet day. I didn't get to go out for the drive I wanted, since I didn't wake up until 1 pm after falling asleep on the couch last night. These allergies are really kicking my ass, I am just utterly exhausted. I think it might be an appropriate evening to curl up on my sofa and listen to the rain (wait, that's hail), watch Adult Swim, <geek> read my new comic books </geek> (I got The Little Endless Storybook and the four issues of "The Thessaliad" before I reined myself in.) and sleep off the veggieburger I had about six hours ago, not in that particular order necessarily.

Today's quote (which referred to a conversation from Wednesday evening and won't make any sense if you don't watch The Brak Show and weren't privy to the conversation): "Now you know what's running the shuttle: 'Headkicker', by Activision."

The mood is somewhat better today, I think because this time I actually remembered to take that second dose of sam-e in the afternoon. I think I might be taking just barely enough since taking three a day seems to leave me doing okay, while if I go down to two a day I start to slip a bit. I'm glad that I'm at the point that I'm noticing the effects; when I first started taking it, everyone but me could tell that it was doing me some good. Now that I've got some experience with what feeling good is actually like, I think I'm generally pretty able to tell when I'm not anymore. A good mope is sometimes a good thing, but I must admit that I'm liking it a lot better when it's just an occasional occurrence.

[I started writing this around 10 pm, and then got distracted when my utterly wonderful former roommate that I had just been thinking about earlier in the evening called me; two hours later, I should just hit send. Wow, I miss him.]

Heh. If it had enough memory, maybe...

my utterly wonderful former roommate that I had just been thinking about earlier in the evening called me

Great! He's a swell guy... and I'm glad to hear that you two have reconnected.
