Cherie Priest has collected some links to local agencies involved in relief efforts in and around Houston that could really use some help, including food banks and the SPCA.

If you know of any agencies working in southern Louisiana to assist victims of Ike and Gustav, I suspect they'd be grateful for any help as well.
