Bucket o'sunblock for glow-in-the-dark li'l ol' me? Check. Note to self: Pale chick needs hat badly.
Hotel reserved for the first two nights? Check.
Working on a plan for a combination of Seeing Stuff and sitting on my butt with a book or some yarn and people/scenery watching? Check.
Planning to come back home refreshed and having proven something to myself? Check check check.

wrong like a very wrong thing

Today is Boomtime, day 56 in the season of Confusion, 3271.

chadu mentioned Don Ho's cover of "Shock the Monkey" and comments there led me to Coverville (which is not the very wrong thing), which got me to Wang Chung covering Nelly's "Hot in Herre" (which is, although you shouldn't take that to mean I don't like it :-D ). I really need to try to watch that show sometime.

On a less scary note, there's also one of Seu Jorge's Bowie covers from "The Life Aquatic".
