Aug. 15th, 2004 02:32 pmDamn, but I've been in a good mood the last few days. I think for anyone else it might just look like a normal good mood, but considering where I started out it's nearly off the charts. Whee!
Today I've got a huge amount of energy apparently; I've cleaned three of the four bathrooms, started pulling out U-Haul boxes from storage for
geminigirl, and started laundry. I'm counting housecleaning as exercise today, as I've already run from the top floor to the basement (three floors) several times and have managed to actually work up a sweat with the stairs and the scrubbing and the mopping and the dancing around the living room. If I've still got energy left when I'm done with everything I want to get cleaned today, I'm going to go break in the new walking shoes and take a few spins around the lake I think. Once I work off some of the energy, tonight I have several homework assignments I need to work on (some less annoying than others) and maybe a couple of reasonably substantive posts that've been percolating but I haven't had the inspiration to write out coherently yet. If I'm really inspired, it might be time for blue hair again (but I'm not sure I'm that inspired, especially with a freshly-scrubbed bathroom).
While looking for suitably appropriate music to dance around to while housecleaning (I admit it, I was looking for the "10 Things I Hate About You" soundtrack so I could sing at the top of my lungs along with Semisonic; I suspect that C., who is still asleep, is grateful I didn't find it immediately), I found CDs I forgot I even had. That happens a lot, actually; I think I need to get around to registering Readerware and then get started with the bar code scanning. The one that got pulled out for a re-listen is Shaï nO Shaï's "Human Condition", strongly Middle Eastern-influenced world pop, I'd call it. Perfectly suited for housecleaning, it seems. I should go through the CD collection more often. Sheesh.
