It is the sacred Season Holyday of Confuflux.
Good thing: Friendly doggie in the office today! Squee!! She's already been in to sit with her head on my lap and stare at me until I pet her.
Not-good thing: "Dear God, could you please kill off three Supreme Court justices? Thank you. Your buddy, Pat" (Yeah, not in so many words, but close enough given his recitation of their health problems.)
Unsurprising thing: The Justice Department refused a federal judge's order to allow terrorism suspect Zacarias Moussaoui access to a captured al Qaeda leader Monday, citing national security concerns.
And let's not forget this nugget of joy: Budget Deficit May Surpass $450 Billion [...] That would be 50 percent higher than the Bush administration forecast five months ago. I'm a 56 year old man from Arkabutla, MS , myself. ;) )
