Feb. 14th, 2003 04:04 pmToday is Setting Orange, day 45 in the season of Chaos, 3269.
There's a delivery waiting for me in the rental office. (I know this because the delivery person called my cellphone to get directions to my apartment, and I let them know there was no one home to let them in the gate.) Unfortunately, I get off work at just about exactly the time the rental office, half an hour away, closes for the evening.
[edit: I was told I could take off at 5, since it would be wrong to leave a gift sitting in the rental office all weekend - so long as I reported back on what it was. ;) I left work at 5:30 when I finished up my sysadminly duties and made it with 5 minutes to spare. *grin*]
