Well, I broke down and activated my resume on Monster.com. I'm not sure if I'll be relieved or disappointed if I'm not swamped with headhunter calls. ;) Getting to the point I definitely need steady income though.

We went and looked at the model of one of the apartments we're considering; it was actually really nice. There was another model here that was $200/month cheaper than the one we're considering (which is itself almost $500/month less than our current place), but all of those models face in such a way that we'd never get any sun at all. The units we've decided we want at least face west, although we'd be moving from the back of the complex into the middle, so not as much late afternoon sun. Ah well. But we're definitely going to stay in this complex, since all our deposits will transfer over and we won't have to come up with a couple thousand dollars by the end of the month. Probably moving in the overlap between when the apartments on special come available and when our notice will end, which means the last week of March and the first week and a half of April. Just in time to have a birthday/housewarming party, whee!

Troy and I ended up talking for something like 8 hours last night. We had a couple years' worth of catching up to do, and apparently we did it all at once. Definitely miss talking to him. Neither of us could figure out why we stopped talking in the first place. Weird. Maybe weirdness after realizing that the long-distance thing wasn't an option? I don't know. Now I just have to find a redheaded, bike-riding babe in the Ann Arbor area to set him up with. ;)

Missing W. a lot today.

Slow day. Apartment's been looked at, we're going tomorrow to talk about the transfer. Nothing much planned until The Sopranos comes on later.

Ben & Jerry's "Kaberry Kaboom". It's strawberry and blueberry ice cream with a blueberry swirl and WHITE FUDGE COVERED POP ROCKS. Really. It's so utterly wrong, and so incredibly yummy. What's with the pop rocks in food? I just bought a box of Powerpuff Girls cereal because it too had pop rocks in it.

Mmm, pop rocks and Coke. Nostalgia. =)

I was just talking to a friend, and it seems she's never heard of pop rocks. *blink* Don't I feel old. =)
