today's semi-success

C. and I went to a bbq at the home of some of my friends. H. and her boyfriend were there as well, H. being this incredibly cool woman that I've been sort of interested in for a very long time. While the two of us gabbed in the kitchen, we ended up discovering that both of us were desperately in need of a being hit over the head with a big flashing neon sign that says "I think you're really cute". She'd apparently been flirting with me in the past, and I had been flirting with her and thinking I was really obvious about it, but both of us thought the other one wasn't interested. *rolls eyes* So, now that we've got that out in the open, we'll see what happens. =) (Nothing at all until after her wedding at the end of the month, I'm quite sure of that.) That I think almost made up for the uncontrollable crying jags I've been having the last couple of days; damn hormone-induced mood swings. =/
