Jul. 31st, 2000 06:00 pmGah, the drive to and from Boston this weekend was almost enough to make me give up and move there and not fight with freakin' Connecticut anymore. Twelve hours to make a drive on Sunday that should've taken no more than eight and a half.
At least the Flea was fun. It was an excellent excuse to wear my new black and silver corset and the skirt I got from the wonderful Yosa a few months ago. Didn't buy much (probably for the best; I don't really need another corset until after I get at least one more contract gig and the resulting income) but I got to see folks that I haven't seen in far too long. And a few that I saw the weekend before. =) Must remember to tell folks that I'm going to be in the area next time, not that there was a lot of time to be social this trip. I noticed that for a lot of people, my defining characteristic seems to be my oddly-colored hair. I was a little surprised to find that several people didn't recognize me at all without blue or red or green hair (and not people who met me once for 5 minutes at a party, either). "You're looking very...non-primary-colored". *snicker* I'm starting to miss the blue hair already.
