Catching up

I really haven't been posting much, have I? Have a catch-up on the year to date:

• Car accident (I was rear-ended in morning traffic; I was in the front car, it was not my fault and there was no real damage to my car other than a slightly bent rear license plate, but the other two drivers involved are apparently still fighting about who's at fault.)


• My cat's heart disease has gone from "mild" (which it had been for many years) to "severe" in less than two years and he's got something else going on that hasn't been diagnosed yet, possibly something like IBS. On top of the diabetes, of course. Did you know that 15 Plavix tablets are like $80? Yeah, neither did I until a couple weeks ago.


• Unhappy interpersonal relationship stuff that I am not going to elaborate on


• Found out today that my uncle (my father's twin brother) has cancer.


• The edge has been taken off the anxiety, but I'm still seriously depressed. (This, I think, probably explains the lack of posting.)


• My birthday's coming up and I can't even get motivated enough to really care, much less make any plans. (See previous list item.)

Rating the year so far, based on Q1 I'm going with "2010 can DIAF". There were a few bright spots, including the fact that I've gotten one credit card paid completely off and another will be paid off this week; it's not all unmitigated gloom and doom over here. Just mostly.
