1. Supplies both sublime (Dogfish Head World Wide Stout, a big hunk of pot roast for the crock pot) and ridiculous (components for Ro-tel dip) laid in?  Check.
2. Enough unwatched DVDs, Hulu,  and new-to-us Playstation games to last us until the end of the month, if not the end of time?  Check.
3. Printouts of local-ish pet-friendly hotels in case of power loss?  Check. (We have a fireplace. The chimney hasn't been inspected/cleaned since long before we moved in 6 years ago, and given the state of repair of the rest of the house...I'm not feeling up to risking lighting a fire in it even if we had any dry wood.)
4. Enough Lush bath products to supply a small city?  Check.
5. Bird/squirrel/raccoon feeder fully stocked?  Well, it was earlier. 
6. Various cardboard boxes/storage bins/etc. that can serve as sleds because I WILL go play this time before I settle in to shovel out the sidewalk? Check check.
   

I think I'm ready for the snowpocalypse, which is well under way.  They're talking up to 3" an hour through 3 AM and then lesser rates continuing through Saturday.

Wow, you *are* well prepared. Our plan in the event of a power outage is to get under the covers and pull the cat in with us.

Given that it took 3+ hours to dig out the car today, I'm guessing that's pretty much what we would've done too. :D Luckily the power's stayed on so far. *looks around for some wood to knock on*

Having just spent the entire afternoon digging out the car, I'm not feeling up to playing in it quite yet. =) Maybe if my office follows the feds and is closed tomorrow...

Hey, speaking of Lush...I think in one of my gift boxes that we got at the maul, I might have a brick of Ice Blue soap. I wasn't all that keen on the sample that came in the bonus goodie bag; would you like it if I can dig the thing out of the box it's in?

Hopefully you didn't need to resort to one either. =) Given how long it took to dig out the car and that we don't have the piggers or the fish anymore, I'm guessing we'd have just stayed home under a zillion blankets anyway. Brainmeats felt better having another option though, y'know?
