Well, @#$%. I got to work late this morning (10:20) and by 10:30 when I managed to get to the Ticketbastard site all of the 10 AM Leonard Cohen presale lawn tickets were gone already. I guess I'll wait until Friday morning when the general sale starts and try again. Is anyone else planning on going and snagging lawn seats? (Yeah, yeah, I know; see tag assigned to this post.)

For folks interested, BTW, prices at Merriweather look like this:  lawn $40; loge $69.50 and $99.50; main pavilion $175 and $250. I don't care who it is, I am not paying $600 for a concert.

Concert tickets are painfully expensive these days. That's another one I'll missed based on price alone....

Yes indeedy. $53 with service charge I can do. $275, not so much. I'm going to try to snag a few tickets on Friday (I've had at least one other person say they wanted to go); shall I +1 (or more) to my order?

On the theory that Cohen hasn't toured the US in something like 15 years and I'm not going to count on his being around to do it in another 15, I'm going to put aside my loathing for Ticketmaster and shell out for lawn seats. But sheesh. And ouch.
