The Killers cover Dire Straits

I'm predisposed to like this purely because "Romeo and Juliet" is my favorite Dire Straits song (albeit with the worst video). It's a pretty straightforward cover though, so what's not to like?




Nope, still can't listen to this song without tearing up. Pass me a kleenex, please.

Oh man, I love this song too. I think its Mark Knopfler's delivery though that really made it special. Like a soft whisper in your ear.

Oh yeah; I like this version okay, but the original is still by far the better one. I'm not sure the song particularly suits this guy's voice, if you know what I mean. ("Mr. Brightside" though? Mark Knopfler couldn't do that one justice even if he wanted to, IMO.)
