Well, there's two and a half hours of my life that I'll never get back. As nminusone put it, "What it lacked in quality it made up for in quantity".

Also? Words I never thought I'd hear come out of my mouth in a serious manner: "Damn, the Phil Collins-having version of that song is so much better."

Is it me, or are the movie remakes of all those 70s and 80s TV shows trying to capture a mood without intending to capture any substance (of course, what substance did some of the shows have?)?

Colin Farrell and Jaime Foxx just didn't have anything remotely resembling the chemistry that Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas did. While it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, I won't be going back to see it again.

We did get a trailer for "The Black Dahlia" though, so at least something good came out of it. ;)

Even better was the crowd of kids after the movie, arguing about mojitos. (Which are mentioned a few times in the movie.)
