How good were my tickets to GBS last night? This is a straight shot with no zoom at all. *gloat* ;) Of course, the quality leaves everything to be desired because I didn't bring my real camera with me -- I wasn't sure whether it would've been allowed in. Based on the number of people I saw with cameras, it would've. =(

Quite a bunch of my photos were in the flickr greatbigsea tag. :) (I brought in my camera, it's small and easy to hide, I figured I'd take it out if others were. The boys in GBS *like* photos, greatbigsea.com even offers hosting space for them. But not all clubs allow them. And others were taking pics, so I pulled out my camera and took subtle, no-flash pics. Aren't they FUN? :)

I thought they might be, although I haven't gone back past the first couple of pages. =)

My camera's not particularly small or subtle and I had my doubts on whether Lisner would allow photography so I decided to just not bring my purse with my camera in it. I'm almost tempted to get a smaller one for such occasions, although they're rare enough that it would be kind of silly.

It was a great show, even having missed about a third of it. They were joking about the first place they played in DC many years ago being a subway bathroom. As far as size goes, IOTA and a subway bathroom are actually pretty close. ;) I'd imagine, anyway, having never needed to jump through the hoops required to get into the bathrooms in Metro stations. They were already big in Canada, and here they were in Arlington, VA playing this tiny, tiny little club. Must've been an interesting change.
