I have connectivity in my office again, and I was looking forward to getting back to the much less headache-inducing light of my full-spectrum bulb in the lamp in my office...except the bulb just blew out as I turned it on. *facepalm* Okay, I get it. I'm meant to use fluorescents today. But I have my music and some Aleve at least.

Note to self: go to Lowes on the way home and get one three-way full-spectrum (if they have them), at least two 40-watt globes for the master bath, and a 35-watt fluorescent flood for the entryway.

Our office building at NASA uses "warm" fluorescents, which help somewhat...

We've got the standard variety, which gives me a headache when I have to work in them for more than an hour or so. I got a new bulb for my floor lamp and a small halogen for my desk to try to help with the SAD, so tomorrow should be better.

Check your local drugstore? I know Rite-Aid carries the GE Reveal where I live (occasionally they have a better selection than the Safeway ...)

I found a tolerable replacement at Lowes; if I hadn't, Wegmans carries a few of the 'spensive full-spectrum bulbs and I could hit them up as a last resort.
