Charles Worth Silk Afternoon Dress, 1880s *drool* (My birthday is coming up soon. ;) )

Embroidered French corset c. 1900 (17" waist, so not happening for me)

The same folks also have a Claire McCardell day dress and more impressively, a Fortuny Delphos dress. (Gorgeous, but so very unflattering on my shape. Not that I'd dare even consider wearing it anyway.) Lots of other pretty things too, like some Art Nouveau clasps I'm half-heartedly keeping my eye on.

Finally got thru the link - my heart aches to have that Fortuny!!!!

The Claire McCardell ain't bad either - and seems far more "reachable" for most people in terms of price.

You know just how to play to the costume junkies, don't you?! :P
