I think it's obvious - bird strikes are a threat to marriage. We must mobilize. The birds must be stopped. Marriage as we know it is in terrible danger.

Or was that gay people? I know one of them is bad for airplanes, and the other for marriage, but I get them mixed up.

I occurs to me that monogamous marriage is a lot like being on an airplane - the seats are small, there are attractive women wandering around that you can't have and the food is terrible. Or possibly that's just my parents' marriage and I'm projecting.

Well, the finite element analysis used in the bird strike sims could be used in sims of various other, kinkier impacts, thereby providing facilitation to both overcoming jealousy (watching one's spouse cane zir OSO, say) and saving the relationship thereby...

As of Arisia, I have achieved that magical ability. Someone I really wanted was having sex with someone else (and pointedly ignoring me) 2 feet away, and I was able to enjoy it! I win!
